Never autostop..

Three University students (female) took a ride by autostop with someone  in Chania and evidently he refused to let them off the car.. The police had to stop him and apprehend him.

I don't know where this world is going but I do know autostop is a huge risk, always was and always will be.

Having said that another driver , a taxi driver this time tried to charge an obsurd amount in Thessaloniki to a 23 yr old female , he had also other passengers in the car as customers. The young lady denied to pay 100 euros instead of the 13 that was evident from the taxi meter and he started slapping her around!! The other passengers stepped in and saved the young woman from who knows what!

Sad situation here in Greece .. not enough control about anything.

To top it all up I hear on a very popular TV show here in Greece this morning that a young lady working in education, while on a night out was manipulated while drunk by three male adults to consume even more alcohol , then was bitten and raped by all three of these men. Though restrictive orders  are in effect, the court DID NOT recognize this as  a rape (with hospital records ecc presented by her lawyers in court)  with the excuse that  this was consent !! The lady  will take this to the highest court in Greece Areios Pagos and let us hope she is going to get the correct decision out of them.

What can I say?? Speechless !!
